MacBook and iMac service
Macs come to the same bench as everything else. Whether it's a MacBook Air that won't hold a charge, an iMac that's crawling, or a machine that stopped cooperating after a macOS update, we'll find out what's actually wrong before anyone spends anything.
What Macs come in for
- Batteries at the end of their cycle count, or swelling and pushing on the trackpad.
- Machines slowed to a crawl — often a nearly full drive rather than a failing one.
- macOS upgrades that left something not working.
- Storage that has run out, on machines where it can't simply be swapped.
- Data recovery from a Mac that won't start.
Swelling batteries are worth acting on
If the trackpad has stopped clicking properly or the case is bowing, that's usually a battery expanding — and it's the one Mac fault worth dealing with promptly rather than living with. Stop using it on your lap and bring it in.
Getting your files off one that won't start
A Mac that won't boot doesn't mean the data is gone. On many models the drive is still readable, and if the photos are what actually matter, tell us that when you drop it off — it changes what we do first.
Straight answer
Newer Macs are built with storage and memory soldered to the board, which genuinely limits what anybody can repair or upgrade — us, Apple, or anyone else. We'll be straight about whether yours is in that category before you spend on a diagnosis. If it's still inside Apple's warranty or AppleCare, use that first.
The service this usually lands on
- Apple & Mac Repair — mac problems we handle
- Data Recovery — situations we recover from
Common questions
How long will my repair take?
Most repairs are back in your hands in 24–48 hours. When we diagnose your device, we’ll give you a realistic timeframe up front.
What kinds of computers do you work on?
PCs and Macs, laptops and desktops, plus custom builds. We’re a Dell Authorized partner and handle Apple/Mac repairs in-shop. Common jobs: virus & malware removal, hardware upgrades (RAM, SSD, GPU), data recovery, and network & business IT.
Will I lose my photos and files during a repair?
Protecting your files is part of the job. Most repairs never touch your personal files, and if a job carries any risk to your data we’ll tell you before we start so you can decide. Worried about something specific — photos, tax records, family documents? Mention it at drop-off and we’ll take extra care.
