Catch a hinge early
If the screen bezel is starting to separate near the hinge, deal with it sooner rather than later. Left alone, the hinge keeps pulling and takes the case and sometimes the display cable with it — turning a modest repair into a much larger one.

ProBooks and EliteBooks out of offices get the same treatment as Pavilions out of living rooms. If it's a work machine and downtime matters, say so when you drop it off and we'll factor that in.

We service HP but we are not an HP authorized service provider — we're a Dell Authorized partner, and we'd rather be precise about that than blur it. It changes nothing about the repair; it does mean that if your HP is still inside its own manufacturer warranty, that's the route to use first.
