Dell repair, from an authorized partner
We're a Dell Authorized partner, and Dell is the brand we see most across the bench and the sales floor both. Latitudes out of offices, Inspirons out of houses, the occasional XPS — we work on all of them in-shop.
The Dell lines we see most
- Latitude — business laptops, often ex-corporate, and generally worth repairing because they were built to be.
- Inspiron — the home line; screens, batteries and charging ports are the usual jobs.
- XPS — thinner, tighter inside, and more sensitive to heat and to dust build-up.
- OptiPlex — small-form desktops that turn up in offices all over Charlotte County.
What comes in most often
- Charging ports worn loose from years of plugging in at the same angle.
- Batteries at the end of their life in machines otherwise running fine.
- Spinning hard drives worth swapping for an SSD — the single biggest change you can make to an older Latitude.
- Cracked screens, replaced in-shop.
- Fans and heatsinks packed with dust, causing shutdowns under load.
Buying as well as fixing
We sell refurbished Dell business machines alongside the repair bench — the same Latitudes we service, tested and set up before they go out. If a repair quote doesn't make sense against the age of your machine, that's a real alternative and we'll show you both numbers.
Straight answer
Being a Dell Authorized partner means we work on them properly; it doesn't mean a Dell is always the answer, and it doesn't make out-of-warranty repairs free. If your machine is still under Dell's own warranty, use it — that's the cheaper route and we'll point you at it rather than charge you for something you've already paid for.
