Printer won't print?

Most printers that "stopped working" didn't break — something between the computer and the printer did. A driver Windows replaced, a spooler that's stuck, or a network connection that quietly dropped. Sorting out which is usually quick, and often doesn't need a trip in at all.

What we actually do

Most of this is diagnosis rather than repair — figuring out whether the computer, the driver, or the connection is the actual point of failure, then fixing that specific thing. It's one of the more common jobs we solve over a remote session, since it's rarely something we need to open the machine for.

Straight answer

If the printer itself won't feed paper, won't pick up ink, or throws an error on its own display with nothing connected to it, that's a printer hardware problem — and on most consumer inkjets, a repair costs more than a like-for-like replacement. We'll tell you plainly if that's what you're looking at rather than bill you to confirm what a five-minute look tells us for free.

Common questions

Do I need an appointment?

Nope — walk-ins are welcome during business hours (Mon–Fri 10 AM–5:30 PM, Sat 10 AM–2 PM). Want to plan ahead? Request a time online and we’ll confirm it with you.

How much will it cost?

No appointment needed — stop in for a quick consultation, and we’ll take a look and quote it up front, in plain English. No surprises. Prefer to call first? Reach us at 941-625-TECH (8324).

Can you fix my computer without me bringing it in?

Often, yes. Many software problems can be handled remotely — we connect over a live screen-share while you watch everything we do. Call first and we’ll tell you honestly whether remote help will work or the machine needs to come into the shop.
