What to bring when you drop off a computer

Walk-ins are welcome and you don't need an appointment. Bringing three things saves the most time, and one of them is information rather than hardware.

Straight answer

If you can't get into the machine because you've lost the password, come anyway — that's a solvable problem in its own right, and we'll need proof the computer is yours. And if you're not sure whether it's worth bringing in at all, call first. We'd rather spend two minutes on the phone than have you drive over for something we can tell you straight away.

Common questions

Do I need an appointment?

Nope — walk-ins are welcome during business hours (Mon–Fri 10 AM–5:30 PM, Sat 10 AM–2 PM). Want to plan ahead? Request a time online and we’ll confirm it with you.

What should I bring when I drop off my computer?

Just the device and its power adapter or charger. If the problem involves logging in or specific files, your password helps us get straight to work. Leave the boxes and manuals at home unless they’re part of the issue.
