Computer won't connect to Wi-Fi

The first question is whether it's the computer or the internet, and you can answer that in ten seconds: if your phone is happily on the same Wi-Fi, the internet is fine and the problem is the machine.

Often fixable without a trip

Wi-Fi problems are among the most likely to be solved over a remote session — you can watch on your own screen while we work, and you keep the computer. Ask about that when you call; if it turns out to be hardware we'll tell you and you can bring it in.

Straight answer

If nothing in the house can get online, we're not the right call and we'll say so — that's your internet provider or your router, and you shouldn't pay anyone to tell you that. We only charge for work we actually do.

Common questions

How much will it cost?

No appointment needed — stop in for a quick consultation, and we’ll take a look and quote it up front, in plain English. No surprises. Prefer to call first? Reach us at 941-625-TECH (8324).

Do you make house calls?

Yes — on-site service is one of the three ways we work (in-store, on-site, and remote). Call 941-625-TECH (8324) and tell us what’s going on; we’ll let you know if a visit is the right fit and set it up.

Can you fix my computer without me bringing it in?

Often, yes. Many software problems can be handled remotely — we connect over a live screen-share while you watch everything we do. Call first and we’ll tell you honestly whether remote help will work or the machine needs to come into the shop.
