MSI laptop and desktop repair

MSI is almost entirely gaming hardware now, laptops and desktops both, and gaming hardware runs hot by design. Cooling is the thing that matters most on this brand, more than on almost any other we see.

The MSI lines we see

Heat is the recurring theme

MSI's gaming machines pull more current than most laptops, and that shows up as heat with nowhere convenient to go. The tell is a machine that was fine last year and now spins up hard within minutes — usually a clogged cooling path and dried thermal paste rather than a failed graphics card. Worth dealing with before the throttling becomes the normal state, because a machine that runs hot constantly ages everything inside it faster.

What else comes in

Straight answer

We service MSI in-shop like every major brand — we are not an MSI authorized provider, and we won't claim to be. One thing worth knowing before you buy a replacement power adapter yourself: MSI's gaming laptops are often specific about wattage, and a generic charger that's close enough on paper can still undercharge the machine under real gaming load. Bring the original if you have it, or ask us before you order one.

Ways we can handle this

This one usually needs hands on the hardware, so the machine does need to reach the bench. Getting it here isn't necessarily your problem to solve, though.
