ASUS laptop repair
ASUS covers a wide spread — thin ZenBooks, everyday VivoBooks, and ROG gaming machines that run hot by design. Each ages differently, and the gaming ones need the most attention to cooling.
Across the ASUS range
- ZenBook — thin and light, which means heat has fewer places to go and dust matters more.
- VivoBook — the everyday line; screens, batteries and slow spinning drives.
- ROG / TUF — gaming hardware that runs hard, and where cooling service makes the biggest difference.
Gaming laptops and heat
A gaming laptop that has started throttling, roaring, or shutting off mid-session is usually telling you the cooling path is clogged and the thermal paste has dried out. That's a service item, not a failure — and it's the difference between a machine that holds its frame rate and one that doesn't.
Upgrades worth doing
- More RAM, on the models that allow it.
- A second drive where there's a spare slot.
- An SSD swap on any VivoBook still running a spinning disk.
Straight answer
We service ASUS in-shop like every major brand, and we are not an ASUS authorized provider. Worth knowing on the thin ZenBooks specifically: some are built with very little serviceable inside, and on those a repair is genuinely limited by the design rather than by us. We'll tell you at diagnosis if yours is one of them.
