How long will my computer repair take?
Most repairs are back with you in 24–48 hours. That's the typical case, not a promise about your particular machine — and when we diagnose it, you get a realistic timeframe for yours specifically rather than a stock answer.
What tends to be quick
- Cleanups, malware removal, and software that's gone wrong.
- Memory and storage upgrades where the parts are on hand.
- Diagnosis itself — knowing what's wrong usually comes well before the fix.
- Anything where the part is already in the shop.
What takes longer, and why
- Parts we have to order — screens and model-specific components, where the wait is the shipping, not the work.
- Data recovery, which is deliberately unhurried; rushing a failing drive is how you lose what's on it.
- Intermittent faults that only appear occasionally and have to be caught in the act.
- Liquid damage, where cleaning and assessment happen in stages.
If timing matters, say so
Tell us when you drop it off if there's a deadline — a work machine, a trip, a school term. It doesn't change the physics of a part arriving, but it does change what we do first and what we can offer you in the meantime.
Straight answer
We'd rather give you a real date than a hopeful one. If a part is coming from a supplier, the honest answer is that the shipping controls the timeline and we don't. You can check where your repair stands any time — there's a status lookup on the site, and calling the shop gets you someone who can actually see it.
